“I am the Luisa Madrigal of our family”

I am Einjellyn L. Puno , the eldest daughter of Emelyn Puno and Emiliano Puno. I somehow relate my life to Luisa Madrigal which is a family oriented girl who will do everything to protect her family. I become selfless, soft hearted and vulnerable when it comes to them, because family is my comfort and my forever home.

I am not that smart but I’m born being creative, and I believe in saying that “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”. People say I’m a slow learner, but I also believe in power of time which will help me continue to learn more. I won’t stop dreaming big just because I cannot do what others do, I AM UNIQUE AND TALENTED.

To be honest, the thought of graduating is a big achievement but at the same time I become more anxious because my dream job also become unsure. Maybe because many people (classmates, friends) made me think that I’m not smart enough. BUT, their skills and ability is different from what’s mine! I found myself enjoying making a logo, poster, marketing materials like advertisements and anything about graphic editing. I’m still learning how to edit video animation and so far, I’m enjoying doing it.

I may not be smart like others, at least I am determined and creative.

Just like what Luisa Madrigal said on her song;

“If I could shake the crushing weight of expectations

Would that free some room up for joy

Or relaxation, or simple pleasure?

Instead we measure this growing pressure

Keeps growing, keep going”

I will keep moving.

I am hoping that we can all be friends and treat everyone equally :)
